Personally, I have raced a lot of different venues this year. Whether it be O-Cups, Canada Cups, World Cups and Champs, the Ontario vs. Quebec hosted this past weekend by Pete of Sirbikealot racing was one of my favourites.
It was a unique and interesting idea which brought together racers from two provinces, Ontario and Quebec, to battle it out on the hill. If I was to describe it, I would say it was like a Canada Cup, only missing a handful of racers from the west.
There were two races; one on the Saturday and one on the Sunday. Whichever Province had the most points accumulated by racers of there respected provinces placing in each race would win the challenge.
As an Ontario resident, I am proud to say that on both days Ontario posted the fastest time of the day, as well, Ontario won the challenge!!
Congrats and thank you to all the racers who attended from both provinces!
Thanks Pete and the organizers for hosting this sweet event.
So far, I have only been able to find results from Saturday: http://www.fqsc.net/09/Comp/Montagne/re ... DHI-06.pdf
